Confidence buckets
A well-calibrated 80% bucket should be correct roughly eight times out of ten over a large sample. Ten questions are a noisy diagnostic, not a permanent identity.
How scoring works
Accuracy
The ordinary part: how many answers were right.
Calibration gap
Average confidence minus actual accuracy. Positive means overconfident.
Brier score
A proper scoring rule that punishes confident mistakes much more than cautious ones.
